  • Account & Profile Information: When you sign in using Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive your email address, name, and a primary profile identifier from that provider. We do not store your Google or Apple password. If you use Sign in with Apple's "Hide My Email" feature, we receive and store the private relay email address Apple provides instead of your real one.
  • User Content & Task Data: We store information you enter into the platform, including Realm names, Bucket categories, task titles, descriptions, due dates, task amounts ($), and recurrence preferences.
  • Device & Timezone Data: We automatically detect and store your local IANA time zone (e.g., America/New_York) to schedule email reminders and daily snapshots accurately.
  • Cookies: We use secure session cookies solely to keep you signed in during active browsing sessions.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticating your identity and rendering your personalized task timeline.
  • Sending transactional task reminders, overdue notifications, daily snapshots, and collaboration invites.
  • Displaying your name and email address inside shared Realms to indicate member access to authorized collaborators.

3. Third-Party Services

We share necessary data with trusted infrastructure providers solely to operate the app:

  • Google OAuth: Provides secure authentication.
  • Sign in with Apple: Provides secure authentication for users on our iOS app.
  • Resend API: Processes and delivers transactional notification emails and invites.
  • Render & PostgreSQL: Hosts our web application server and database securely.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account remains active. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all associated task records at any time by emailing support@usetaskmonster.app.

5. Children's Privacy

TaskMonster is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
